How to craft rakdos sacrifice deck from scrach

From Zero to Hero, a radkos sacrafice from a non-rare to a fully comepetitive version.
The advantage of this deck is that you can easily assemble it using only common and uncommons and then develop it to a fully competitive version. Today we will look at this development.

So let’s start with a non-rare version.

Deck (60)
Cauldron Familiar
Mountain
Mayhem Devil
Swamp
Oni-Cult Anvil
Voldaren Epicure
Witch’s Oven
Deadly Dispute
Fatal Push
Drill Bit
Ravenous Squirrel
Tramway Station
Immersturm Skullcairn
Experimental Synthesizer

As you can see, a very strong point of the already rareless version remains the fact that the deck engine remains intact. And potential more expensive cards are only a symbolic enhancement, not the basic value of the deck. Now let’s take a look at the competitive version of the deck where we can assume two variants of the first version on lurrus :

Companion (1)
Lurrus of the Dream-Den

Deck (60)
Cauldron Familiar
Ravenous Squirrel
Voldaren Epicure
Fatal Push
Deadly Dispute
Thoughtseize
Witch’s Oven
Experimental Synthesizer
Oni-Cult Anvil
The Meathook Massacre
Swamp
Fabled Passage
Blightstep Pathway
Hive of the Eye Tyrant
Den of the Bugbear
Haunted Ridge
Mountain
Blood Crypt
Phyrexian Tower

And a more controllable version without the lurrus

Deck (60)
Cauldron Familiar
Mountain
Mayhem Devil
Swamp
Oni-Cult Anvil
Voldaren Epicure
Ob Nixilis, the Adversary
Deadly Dispute
Fatal Push
Thoughtseize
Ravenous Squirrel
Blood Crypt
Dragonskull Summit
Experimental Synthesizer
Haunted Ridge
Fabled Passage
Phyrexian Tower
Den of the Bugbear
Witch’s Oven

As you can see the difference is mainly in counters, of course a few cards are swapped, but the core of the deck stays the same.

The deck as such does relatively well against any kind of opponent, it is not as grind resistant as its junda food version, but playing this deck you have a chance against any opponent.

As for the sideboard, I won’t write about specific versions, but I’ll treat the topic in general.

Phoenixes here we need greve hate, for this I would definitely add one two Soul-Guide Lantern or even ( in non lurrus version of course ) on {leyline of the void}.

All kinds of controls

We need to respond with a hand control, duress as well as an extra Thoughtseize or Drill Bit is your best friend here.

Aggro decks, well our dec can deal with all kinds of aggro decks perfectly ( I’d say it’s our best matchup ) but it’s not a bad idea to add two The Meathook Massacre or some point removals
